The Challenge

Farmers in cocoa-forest landscapes needed sustainable, high-yield piggery systems that integrate eco-friendly waste management to preserve local forest ecosystems and raise incomes.

ARATC's Response

ARATC developed the capacity of target farmers in Indigenous Micro-Organism (IMO) technology for pig farming, reducing odors and waste, and established a vibrant piggery value chain to create direct employment in cocoa-forest landscapes.

Activities Delivered

  • 1
